You can delete your AirMates account at any time, directly inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent — no waiting period, no recovery.
The following data is permanently and irrevocably removed the moment you confirm deletion:
Location data: AirMates runs a continuous hard-delete sweep that removes location rows older than 48 hours. Your location data is deleted on the sweep that runs after your account is deleted — typically within minutes, and at most within 48 hours.
Banned accounts: If an account was permanently banned for abuse before it was deleted, we may retain a minimal record (email address or username only) solely to prevent re-registration. This does not apply to voluntary account deletion.
No other retention: We do not retain backups, archives, or any other copy of your personal data after deletion. Your account cannot be recovered.
If you cannot access the app to delete your account yourself, you can request deletion by email. Include the email address or username associated with your account and we will process the request within 30 days.
